What is the job about?

The primary responsibility for the role is to facilitate sales, sales growth and develop a good relationship by following on going and upcoming opportunities within area of responsibility for Industrial End Users (factories), mechanical contractors and subcontractor, electro-mechanical system builders and channel partners. Responsible for regular negotiations for own customer group and being the one point of contact for this customer Group to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Identify the needs and requirements of Industrial end-user’s to promote our company’s solutions and offerings within the area of responsibility. 
  • Regular sales and customer visits to Industrial end-users and relevant stakeholders such as contractors and mechanical system builders.
  • Monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability and drive debt collections within own area and assigned customers.
  • Opportunity and project pipeline follow-up and management. Will be responsible for channel partners (assigned dealers) as an account manager.
  • Ensure quality opportunity pipeline and high hit rate.
  • Project follow-up with channel partners by navigating opportunities, attending customer visits on site, providing technical and commercial support and initiating relevant projects with dealers.
  • Proactively follow up, analyze and report on Key Accounts and ensure regular dialogues.
  • Develop the yearly negotiations with assigned channel partners (dealers) and report sales performance monthly.
  • Follow-up energy and water optimization projects of industrial end-users.
  • Apply an understanding of target markets, products, and applications and bring added value and resources to the sales process resulting in gains in market share.
  • Identify different stakeholders (administrators) and utilize the right approach to promote sales.
  • Ensure a high level of market knowledge to effectively develop commercial activities.
  • Introduce new product and solutions to the customers.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing with the team and take responsibility for own competence development.
  • Review substantial quotations and project bids.
  • Other tasks or project as and when required

Your Background:

  • Min. a bachelor’s in engineering combined with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar sales role.
  • Experienced in sales for industrial end users and dealer management is required.
  • Experienced in the pump market and similar fields will be a differentiator.
  • Good proficiency in English language is necessary.
  • May travel from time to time within the role, must have a B-class driving license
