Job Description

Pay Range: $121,650 to $152,075 per year.

Foster Farms is seeking a self-motivated & high performing Plant Sales Manager to focus on production facility revenue optimization.

Essential Job Functions:

• Coordinate daily and weekly with operations, corporate sales and supply chain to maintain customer service levels and quality objectives.
• Responsibility for key KPIs on relative benchmarking goals and targets for the Complex and Organization.
• Management of fresh and frozen product inventory to targets.
• Sale of excess and out of balance parts from production facilities.
• Coordination with corporate sales to determine optimal product mix, cost and margin attainment.
• Weekly scorecard and reporting with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• BS/BA Degree
• Five years of protein sales experience with an emphasis in poultry.
• Knowledge and understanding of both domestic and export markets and customers
• Ability to independently secure profitable new business
• Ability to effectively communicate, build relationships and negotiate with customers
• Ability to strategically analyze and pursue opportunities to deliver continuous growth to the organization
• Excels in high stress situations with Senior level executives with the ability to not only present clearly but also effectively overcome objections with skillful persuasion using data-driven negotiation and tact
• Proficient in excel, spreadsheets and analytical tools
• Ability to travel overnight as required
