The Business Analyst (BA) provides data and information relevant for the improvement of profitability, efficiency and effectiveness of the IDS business in Turkey and supports all decision making processes in Turkey.
The BA is supporting sales force effectiveness, pricing management, tender profitability and standardized business reporting as well as all GTM projects in the region.
The position requires sound analytical competencies, profound understanding of business objectives, a sense for market developments and the ability to anticipate threats as well as opportunities for the actual and future business in line with related strategies and marketing plans.
Job Description
Your Role
- Develop and communicate a standardized business report package
- Regular sales and GP performance monitoring, communicating and commenting to the Team
- Provide comments on sales force performance based on CRM data to the business
- Provide ad-hoc analysis, reports and project support according to business needs
- Support Business scenarios
- Provide business analysis support for Go to Market adjustments
- Manage the incentive process for the respective business unit
- Regular business data communication to the regional Management Team
- Coordinate and provide guidance on Pricing
- Forecasting & budgeting (short and long term)
- Support financial and demand forecasting and data entry to forecasting system
- Support annual budget planning as well as long term planning
Qualifications
You have a strong academic record with a degree or equivalent in economics, business economics or finance as well as 2-3 years’ experience in business analytics. You provide strong analytical and conceptual skills, profound experience with financial and demand forecasting as well as first experience in project management.
You are experienced in using software (AS400, QlikSense, SFDC) as well as Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel and MS Access (advanced). In addition, you have first experience with sales force effectiveness.

- Working very reliably and respecting timelines and due dates
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time, maintain complex tasks with full accuracy
- Good presentation and preparation skills
- Demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation, target orientation and a drive to achieve results, combined with commercial and financial understanding
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
- Flexible attitude and ability to handle changing priorities
- Capable of working well autonomously and in a team environment also with teams in remote locations
- International outlook and cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Accepts personal responsibility and has high ethical values (honesty, trustworthy, tact, diplomacy)
- Demonstrates drive to achieve results by supporting others
- Fluency in spoken and written English
