Role Purpose
This role is responsible for developing, maintaining and managing VF Turkey’s (including subsidiaries) Business Continuity Program liaising extensively with Business & Technology heads, combining efforts into a single business continuity plan and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and VF Group Governance & BCM requirements. This individual will ensure effective controls are in place and support all activities necessary to enable the Company to respond to a business disruption.
Your Place in the team
Work with all functional business areas to develop and maintain a company wide BCP programme that address business recovery and emergency response management including crisis management
- Build a Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to assess internal and external threats and the risk they pose to our clients and recommends mitigation strategies to reduce or eliminate identified risks.
- Identify gaps, set recovery time objectives and convey business expectations
- Develop a BCM strategy leveraging existing efforts and market/VF Group best practices
- Drive and develop the content of BCM plans and documentation for Infrastructure Services, Core Network , IT which includes, business resumption, recovery, restoration and disaster recovery plans that allows for business continuation in the event of disruptions or disasters
- Communicate the BCM plans and Provide overall governance and direction setting of the programme on an ongoing basis
- Drive the delivery of BCM plans
- Work closely with technology teams to develop/maintain disaster recovery plans for critical systems and applications
- Coordinate BCP testing program and actively participate in testing scenarios
- Initiate and coordinate trainings and awareness programmes
- Control quality and performance in regard to BCP through periodic audits and reviews
- Lead the whole revision cycle of the plans
- Ensure that BCM plans are developed to maintain and/or restore business processes within required timescales following interruption to, or failure of, critical business processes;
Governance of BCM
- Assist with the Company’s governance structure for crisis management & continuity planning
- Govern the BCM plan ensuring investment budget is effectively controlled and managed
- Escalate risks and coordinate mitigating responses
- Develop status reports on location continuity plans and prepare management reports as necessary
- Albeit dotted linked in other departments, consolidate their BCM Budget deliver to VF Executive Management ,manage and organize their activities according to BCM Governance
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards and VF Group Governance & BCM requirement ,and VFTR Eco System,
- Provide subject matter expertise on BCM to include appropriate legal and regulatory requirements
- Acquire and achive ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Standard
Crisis Management
- Lead and Facilitiate execution of the plan and support plan navigation for the business at the time of an event
- Support Crisis Management Committee with critical components of the plan in order that they can make critical decisions
- Provide visibility and reporting to the Crisis Management Committee on the critical functions, individuals and infrastructure within the business plans.
We are looking for you if you have
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Industrial , Electric & Electronic or Computing Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Business Continuity Management / Disaster Recovery / Crisis Management preferable within Technology Service area and Telecommunications sector. (ICT)
- Project / Programme Management skills – demonstrable track record successfully managing projects at the highest technical and tactical levels, coordinating multi-discipline projects
- Excellent analytical skills and understanding of processes, risks and controls
- Exceptional risks and issues management, change control
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate and influence decision-making with senior management
- Ability to work with a global team. Energetic, self-starter, flexible, goal-oriented
- Having ISO 27001 LA, ISO 22301 LA certifications required –CISA and CISM or CISSP also essential
- Very good in English (verbally, and written communications)
