Speciality Foods, Baker

We are looking for a Baker for our Turkish bakery, with experience in the preparation of Turkish specialty foods as listed below.

Job Duties
– Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for the selection of Turkish bakery products
– Bake mixed dough and batters, Prepare special orders,
– Draw up production schedules,
– Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards,
– Inspect kitchen and food service areas,
– Operate machinery

Job Requirements
– Experience in Turkish bakery products: Simit(authentic Turkish bagel) ,Pogca ( Savory bun ) , Bourek( hand made fillo stuffed), Acma( soft bagel), Baklava ( producing with hand made fillo), Gozleme( Turkish stuffed flatbread) at least 5 years
– experience in handling fast-paced production
– Being able to produce Hand-made , scratch bakery products
– Passionate for quality, attention to detail and a strong work ethic to prosper in our fast-paced environment
– Perform various tasks in production area including general duties involving physical handling of production materials and supplies such as mixer, commercial ovens, proofer, simit ( bagel) producing machine
