Operations Team is the center of operations at Trendyol! Team manage end-to-end operation activities and develop processes on the competitive marketplace. These are five main discipline within Operations Team: Warehouse Management, Delivery, Supply Chain, Operational Excellence and Warehouse Projects & Optimization. At the end, we are all working towards the same goal: to create an excellent experience for our customers at Trendyol.

YOUR PROFILE

• University degree (BSc or MSc) in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Management Science or Engineering with related background,
• 2 years relevant work experience,
• Knowledge and/or interest in commercial solvers such as CPLEX, Gurobi, Xpress,
• Knowledge and/or interest in one of the programming languages such C#, Python, Java,
• Experience in integer programming, heuristics and algorithm development,
• Basic understanding of meachine learning concepts,
• Strong sense of analytical thinking, detail-oriented and eager to learn,
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English,
• Excellent command of MS Office applications,

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Supporting optimization team in developing algorithms, creating and coding mathematical models,
• Communicating with IT to integrate the optimization models with related systems such as WMS (Warehouse Management System),
• Understanding the operational data and deduce practical information using basic statistics and machine learning concepts,
• Bringing new insights into way of doing business, by brainstorming activities based on numerical analysis and reports.
