EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• As a Development Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and owning the architecture of our products
• Understand the guiding principle of cloud software and transform the cloud mindset into technology
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying to the cloud
• Have an agile mind-set: respect, collaborate, self-improvement, pride in ownership, focus on delivering value and the ability to adapt to change
• Define business and architectural concepts that are aligned with the team as well as other stakeholders
• Develop together with the teams of the ABAP Platform ,suitable test methods and “renovation” strategies for enabling existing components for the Cloud
• Identify opportunities for reuse of architecture concepts or software parts and cross-team synergies
• Evaluate architectural risks and estimates effort for business case or backlog item, prepare management decisions on these topics
• Aim at continuous improvement of products including the performance improvement
• Work closely with our customers and be aware of market trend and requirements
• Customer support and maintenance

ROLE REQUIREMENTS & WORK EXPERIENCE

• Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and Technology with excellent academic records
• Work Experience/Extensive Knowledge in Agile Software Development
• Expert Knowledge in ABAP/ ABAP OO
• Excellent Object Orientated Programming Skills, RDBMS and SQL.
• Established role of a Technical Architect, with a strong technical background and competencies, and a track record of individual technical accomplishments
• Expertise in building scalable Applications using ABAP
• Sound knowledge in Object oriented
• Programming principles, Design patterns and Software Architecture
• 15+ years of Experience in software development throughout the entire software stack (backend, process integration, UI development)
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform, HANA, OData, HTML/UI5
• Goal-oriented with good communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English
• Ability to network across the organization, and exhibit the desire to learn, innovate and explore & lead topics
• Fluency in English and Turkish national language
