LIMITED TENDER INVITATION
The Embassy of India in Ankara invites bids from reputed Construction Companies for renovation of clean water pipeline at Embassy Residence as listed in the Annex-I.
- Interested companies should have an experience of minimum 5 years, have extensive experience in handling plumping/water pipeline works, should have worked with other embassies, be a member of Ankara Chamber of Commerce, have a valid tax number under a registered tax office.
- The Company shall submit its quotations in two separate sealed envelopes, namely (a) First Envelope – superscripted “Technical Bid for renovation of clean water pipeline at Embassy Residence”; and (b) Second envelope – superscripted “Financial Bid for renovation of clean water pipeline at Embassy Residence”. It should also be superscripted at the bottom left corner of the envelopes with full name, postal address, fax, email, telephone number of the bidder.
- The technical bids should include details of their work carried out with other embassies, manpower strength, financial standing, work expertise, registration with Ankara Chamber of Commerce and Turkish Contractors Association etc. Intended companies can look at the scope of work after appointment date.
- Financial bids should be valid at least for 3(Three) months.
- The company will be required to deposit performance guarantee during the period of work equal to 5% of the contract value. An amount of 30% of the tendered value can be paid at the time of award of work, which will be matched by Bank guarantee of equal amount by the company. An amount of 5% of the total contract value will be retained for a period of one year after completion of work.
- The time frame for completion of job should be mentioned by the company. An amount of 0.1% of tender cost per day delay subjected to a maximum of 10% of tender cost will be levied on the winning contractor in case of delay in completion of project.
- Interested companies may submit their tenders in separate sealed covers to the Embassy on or before 1000 hours on 28th January, 2020. The sealed cover should be addressed to the Head of Chancery, Embassy of Indıa, 77-A, Cinnah Caddesi, Cankaya, Ankara. The tenders will be opened at 1000 hrs. on 31th January, 2020 by the Evaluation Committee in front of the vendors or their representatives. The decision of the Evaluation Committee regarding the award of the tender with due regard to the scope of work indicated above will be final.
