Description:
[redacted] is looking for a self-starting, responsible, detail-oriented, motivated professional to join our growing Advisory Services Business Unit

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare assessments, reviews, and analyses of client IT environments. Interpret results and develop and communication recommendations to management.
  • Conduct open-source analysis on identified targets. Collect data from various sources, organize this data in a format easily digestible for identified stakeholders, and draw sound analytical conclusions.
  • Assess and recommend policies, standards, procedures, controls, and security solutions to assure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of clients’ information technology environment.
  • Assist with tasks to remediate identified risks and vulnerabilities; identify those within the organization responsible for remediation tasks and track progress on remediation of identified risks and vulnerabilities and provide appropriate reporting to all stakeholders.
  • Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders duplicate or replicate process if necessary.
  • Work across [redacted]’s Business Units to accomplish goals. Serve as the customer advocate.

Required Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with and ability to apply generally accepted security methods, concepts and techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of privacy rules, data protection/security regulations, and frameworks, (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, 27002, SSAE 18 (SOC 1) and SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI DSS, GDPR, cloud security fundamentals, COBIT).
  • Consulting skills (client service orientation, conflict resolution, analysis/synthesis of information, negotiation, project management, contracts, etc.)
  • Customer service attitude and willingness to help and problem-solve with customers.
  • Understanding of the cyber threat landscape and the ability to properly convey analytical findings to customers.
  • Experience creating new and improving upon existing artifacts and written products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, but with an ability to understand the big picture view and understand when projects or efforts have conflicting objectives
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to successfully operate with minimal direction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in information security or related field and/or Master’s Degree/Certificate demonstrating regional/functional expertise such as Security Studies, International Affairs, Regional Area Studies.
  • Experience with information technology audits and assessments for on premises and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience working with Security Operations Centers related to operations, controls, and incident response.
  • Experience working and communicating with high net-worth individuals.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Russian, Ukrainian, German, Turkish, Arabic (All dialects), Farsi, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indonesian, Malay, French, Spanish, and African Languages (All).
