1- The Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Renewable Energy Integration Project (REIP) – Additional Financing (AF), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contracts for 400 kV Çanakkale Strait (Lapseki 3-Sütlüce 3) Crossing (Lot 1) & İzmit Gulf (Hersek-Dilovası) Crossing and associated Land Cables (Lot 2) Submarine Cable Connection (DB.KAB.19).
2- The Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEİAŞ) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of following Work: Supply of Goods (400 kV cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated power cables and accessories, fiber optic cables and accessories), testing, transport, delivery, services required at customs and storage at site, engineering and design services, complete erection, construction, installation, supervision, civil works, commissioning, site testing and handing over in satisfactory operating condition including repair works for 5 years after the expiry of the guarantee period of 400 kV Çanakkale Strait (Lapseki 3-Sütlüce 3) Crossing (Lot 1) & İzmit Gulf (Hersek-Dilovası) Crossing and associated Land Cables (Lot 2) Submarine Cable Connection Works.
3- Bidders may Bid for one or both lots (contracts), as further defined in the bidding document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid. 4- Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (July 2016 revised in November 2017 and August 2018) (Procurement Regulations)”, and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
