Job Description

Scope of Talent Acquisition:

Pro-active source and built talent pool based on the requirements provided by the Hiring Manager, in according to the approved manpower requisition.

  • Develop creative and cost effective sourcing strategies to attract candidate to fill existing or anticipated openings (job boards, social media, career fairs, cold calls, employee referral etc.)
  • Perform pre-screening process, including initial assessment, phone interviews to enhance the quality and relevancy of the shortlisted candidates for the hiring managers.
  • Lead and participate of recruitment events such as career fairs, college recruitment programme, graduates development programme, networking events etc.
  • Establish strategic alliance with recruitment agencies to ensure end results are delivered as desired.
  • Establish good rapport with universities or colleges to build consistent and sustainable talent pipelines.
  • Ensure the timely closure of manpower requisition

Scope of HR Business Partner:

Act as an effective HR leader in partnership with the business units leaders from various business units in providing broad range of the HR solutions and strategic plans to support the business in delivering the best HR practices that align with the business needs and achieve the business goals.

  • HR Strategy : collaborate with the leadership team on formulating people strategy and initiatives that are aligned with the corporate objectives and based on priority.
  • Organisation Development : analyse the organizational capabilities and work with leaders to review and develop the right organizational structure and ways of working for the business.
  • Employee Engagement : positively impact employees by cultivating a highly integrity culture and performance-driven working ethics, to achieve the employees’ satisfaction and healthy corporate / environment culture
  • Employee Relations : facilitate resolution of employee conflicts or concerns. Investigate allegations of employees’ misconduct and guide the management on disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Talent Development : drive talent review process and review with leaders to create individual development and succession plans to improve the human capabilities.
  • Manpower Planning : forecast and plan ahead the manpower needs for the business to ensure the readiness of the human resources in meeting the business demands.
  • Compensation & Benefits : studies the market / competitors trend and the needs of business to enhance the competitiveness of the reward strategies, through liaison with the HR Service Centre – C&B
  • Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experiences in Talent Acquisition / HR generalist.
  • Preferable with solid track records of successful implementation of the HR programmes and initiatives.
  • Experienced in dealing with diversified business and managing various levels of stakeholders in a MNC environment.
  • Familiar with the latest update in Employment Act, ISO9001 or relevant shared service standard.
  • Knowledge in using computer/MS Office is a prerequisite and exposure to HRIS (particularly in Ascender& SmartRecruiter) is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in competency-based hiring or use of psychometrics profiling is an added advantage.
  • Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia both written and communication.
