Why is This Role Really Critical to Us?

The Project Management Expert is responsible for delivering end-to-end projects while orchestrating communication and collaboration among all IT and business teams. He/She manages, and mitigates individual projects, programmes or cross-programmes and identifies risks and issues in order to facilitate on-time and on-budget delivery of capabilities and features aligned to the business outcome vision. 

How Will You Spend Your Time at Vodafone?

• Manage a portfolio of projects, program, complex or time bounded projects 
• End to end program/project management
• Kick off projects approved by governance body defined in the process
• Define and manage stakeholders of the project within the company 
• Manage changes throughout the project and execute change request process
• Take or escalate key decisions of the projects to ensure timely progress 
• Develop a project plan and commit a deadline to business owners within a timely manner
• Present project status, progress to all stakeholders, identify and report common risks & issues
• Manage UAT and obtain project acceptance from project owners 
• Execute closure activities of the project
• Within a program, manage and coordinate solutions leads and their associated work packages 
• Evaluate project team’s performance in project closure 
• Continuously seek for ways to simplify and enhance project management processes 
• Control, monitor and review of all project progresses against the Project Delivery Plan
• Manage dependencies among projects in the program /project portfolio 

You are just the person we’ve been looking for, if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management
• Solid understanding of Project Management fundamentals and proven track of project management and change management ability
• Telecom domain working experience within a vendor company or telecom operator will be preferred. 
• Technical background of telecom infrastructure, technologies, products and services is a plus
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent Interpersonal skills (great at listening, solving conflicts, having positive and “can do”attitude)
• Proactively build relationships with leadership and engineering teams to optimize collaboration
• Experience in working with Agile teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Project Management tools and Tracking software (i.e MS Project, JIRA, or similar)
• PMP certification is a plus
