A Day in the Life

We offer you a position where as a Sales Representative you will demonstrate quality in all actions; train and educate customers on proper use of the Medtronic Neurovascular Diseases Treatment Products. You’ll work with Interventional Neuro Radiologists (INR), Interventional Neurologists (IN), Cath Lab technicians and other hospital personnel to facilitate optimal outcomes. You’ll be responsible for collaborating with marketing/product management, working on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors and building productive internal/external working relationships. In additional to your technical support, you will be responsible to achieve business targets and you will execute on various strategies to develop and grow your business and maintain/increase market shares.

• Responsible for the Operating Unit strategy: development and execution of plans for centres within the assigned sales territory, driving and ensuring alignment of sales and service targets.

• Promote and sell Medtronic’s products and services within assigned geographic area and/or specific customer account to meet or exceed targets.

• Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.

• Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic’s products and/or services.

• Identify growth opportunities, ensure the collection of market and competitive data, trends and metrics, ensure inventory management.

• Provide technical support, information and demonstration of related Medtronic products.

• Provide training and education for HCPs in approved sites to ensure proper use of products.

• Assist marketing in developing training and educational activities and in increasing enrollment.

• Provide nursing and/or medical expertise to support case reports, journal articles and clinical reports from clinicians, represent Medtronic at conferences and symposiums.

• Communicate customer feedback on new product and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

• Develop and execute on therapy awareness and market development plans/strategies as needed to treat more patients with therapy.

Must Haves

• Acknowledged education and degree in relevant field/discipline required such as Nursing (OR, ICU, Cathlab), Biomedical Science/Engineering or equivalent qualification.

• Demonstrated cath lab experience.

• Medical device clinical/technical support experience.

• Willingness to travel up to 75%.

Nice to Haves

• Good command of English in writing and in speech.

• Knowledge of the Neurovascular product lines and therapies.

• 1-3 years of experience in hospital work or clinical/technical support in medical company.

• Insight into legal, regulatory and compliance requirements.
