HR Business Partner

Role Purpose

Drive the regional people agenda by building valued relationships with functional leaders and their teams to champion a customer focussed, agile and inclusive culture within the function. Use the tools and processes provided by the COEs to make sure leaders and colleagues perform at their best.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Drive and influence the people and culture agenda to ensure organisational effectiveness
  • Coach leaders in using the tools and processes available to recruit, retain and develop their teams and create a high performing and inclusive culture based on trust
  • Support leaders to deliver change effectively, including initiatives to improve business performance.
  • Understand and communicate function/market needs to feed into the COE teams agenda.
  • Work in partnership with the business, working with stakeholders, to analyse trends, key metrics and qualitative insights to determine and prioritise people activity
  • Understand the local legislative landscape when managing changes, including organisational changes, taking into account the ‘art of the possible’
  • Provide advice and Case Management expertise to resolve complex ER cases. Manage local aspects of employee consultation relating to change & keep BP informed on progress.
  • Work with leaders and their teams to identify future talent and coach leaders on strategies for nurturing talent, clarify career paths, manage colleague aspirations and clear succession planning
  • Champion a culture of listening, sharing learning, inclusion and working agily so that colleagues can be heard and perform at their best
  • Provide feedback to the group COEs to ensure continuous improvement
  • Evaluate how well HR is delivering locally and use feed back to improve performance
  • Accountable for managing the payroll activites in for the office in Turkey
  • Manage stakeholders across function(s) to set delivery expectations whilst assuring effective initiative implementation

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a degree of ambiguity.
  • A strong commercial acumen and a “can do” attitude
  • Broad generalist experience and deep expertise in local ‘technical/hard’ HR processes
  • Strong ER and Data Management skills.
  • Experience of working internationally; developing process improvement and managing remotely/through a matrix
  • Excellent stakeholder management/influence and the ability to easily engage with colleagues at all levels, including appropriate challenge
  • Intellectually and commercially astute with strong business partnering and influencing skills and the ability to build credible relationships quickly at all levels of the organisation

  • Able to build effective and strong working relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to share a message to varying audiences and communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities, understand ‘what good looks like’
  • Be able to demonstrate the improvement of business performance through results
